RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CLASSES 1 TO 4
GENERAL RULES
❖ Videos recorded should be in landscape mode.
❖ There will not be a chance for appeal above the judgment of the appointed judges.
❖ Copyright of all the videos of the arts fest goes to the official site of Citadel school.
     Participants should not upload the videos in any other sites. But you may share the link only.

❖ All the videos should be uploaded on time. Exceeding the time limit may lead to
disqualification.

ELOCUTION
➢ Time allowed is maximum 5 mins. Videos exceeding time limit will be disqualified.
➢ The whole speech should be recorded in one go. No editing or trimming is allowed.
➢ Reading out the entire speech is not allowed. Avoid using offensive language.
➢ Decision criteria: 1. Content (60%) 2. Delivery (20%) 3. Language & modulation(20%).
PAINTING
➢ This will be a live competition
➢ The painting must be submitted in given time.
➢ Participants can use oil/water colour, colour pencils or crayons. It can be done on any
paper sized not less than A4.
➢ Judgment criteria: theme presentation, creativity, neatness, completion.
STORY TELLING
➢ Time allowed is maximum 5 mins.
➢ Participants can choose any theme.
➢ Reading out from paper will be disqualified.
➢ Video should not be edited.
➢ Submit the entries on time for avoiding disqualification.
➢ Judgment criteria: presentation , intonation, language & grammar.
FANCY DRESS
➢ Participants can choose any desired decent costumes.
➢ Each participant should deliver a short narration on his /her character. Avoid using
offensive gestures or languages.
➢ No face covering masks are allowed.
➢ Background music can be used
➢ Maximum time of presentation including narration is 2 mins.
➢ Only solo performance is allowed. Decision of judges will be final.
CINEMATIC DANCE
➢ Time limit is minimum 3 mins & maximum 5 mins. Disqualification for exceeding the
time limit.
➢ Recording should be continuous, editing is not allowed.
➢ Choice of music/song is open to participants, but it should not be offensive or
inappropriate. Avoid using offensive clothes or gestures.
➢ Decision of judges will be final.
LIGHT MUSIC
➢ Time limit is 5 mins. Only one song is allowed.
➢ Film songs, devotional songs or choral songs cannot be used.
➢ Participants are not allowed to use background music except a sruthi box
